Trip Preparation

Document Actions
For study abroad courses at UGA there are several important interactions. The most important is with the Program Director, John Carroll. He organizes the course. The Office of International Education oversees all study abroad courses and is a good place for information. Finally, since students get credit for the course the UGA Registrar and Bursar's offices are involved.

Financial Issues

Now that you are in the program there are some important financial issues to complete. First, as soon as you are accepted you will owe a deposit of $500. Please make those checks out to UGA and turn in to the Program Director. This is non-refundable. Attached is a pdf schedule of the program fee payments. The estimated cost for the program is $4,400. including the flights. This does not include UGA tuition. However, please keep in mind the rather dramatic changes that occur in international currencies and in fuel prices. We will work very hard to make sure that we do not have to adjust the program fee, but there is no guarantee. UGA tuition fees are paid directly to the university.
